Three hours to Understand the Chinese Medicine Clock and Energy!

Many people experience fluctuations in their energy levels throughout the day, a phenomenon Chinese medicine recognized over 3,000 years ago. They explained it through what we now call the “Chinese Medicine Body Clock.”

Today, we’re discovering that certain activities, including medical procedures, are better suited to specific times of day. Modern research into circadian rhythms—the body’s internal clock—has revealed their profound impact on health.

By aligning the Chinese Medicine Clock with the functions of your internal organs, you can gain valuable insights into your daily energy patterns, suggesting lifestyle changes that may better suit your natural rhythm.

Understanding the body’s natural “weak spots” can help you optimize your energy and plan more effectively. For example, your acupuncturist may recommend treatment during specific two-hour windows to maximize its effectiveness, based on this ancient understanding.

While this session primarily focuses on Chinese medicine, it will also explore modern scientific research that often supports these traditional teachings. You’ll discover how key organs like the Liver and Stomach influence not only your physical health but also your mood, spirit, and emotions. (When we refer to organs, we also include the pathways of their corresponding acupuncture meridians or channels.)

Note: While we’ll cover a lot of ground in this session, we shall not delve into Chinese astrology—a fascinating, but entirely separate subject!
