acupuncture-points.org collects personally identifiable information from the visitors to our website only when they volunteer it. If you request information or help through one of the query boxes on this site we shall reply to your request but your information is not kept or stored in any way (unless you are or become a patient) except as a copy of your request or subsequent correspondence between you and us.
Re our mailing list or downloadable material
If you ask to go on to our mailing list or to download material from us, we shall ask you to complete a double opt-in to confirm that you would like us to keep your data so that we can keep you informed of future activities or publications.
How to un-subscribe
You may ask for your information/data to be deleted at any time: all our communications with mailing list subscribers will contain an un-subscribe button. This does not apply to patients as we are required by regulations of our professional bodies to keep patient records for 7 years from their last visit or, in the case of children, until they are 25.

If you are unhappy with how we maintain your information, first please let us know so that we can correct any mistakes.
If after that you still remain unhappy you should inform the Office of the Information Commissioner.
Changes to our policy
We reserve the right to change this information, for example if the law changes. If we do so in a material way we shall inform you if you have consented to us by communicating with you (eg by email or letter) and by placing information about the change on our site.
